A sample from another size, frame section, load range, or factory line can answer only the attributes it actually shares. List every difference.
Eligibility applies to qualified business buyers and is confirmed after we review your product, quantity, destination, and sourcing requirements.
Approval planning
A sample plan connects each physical check to the quoted configuration. Decide what a prototype, finish swatch, packaging sample, or production-reference unit must demonstrate—and what it cannot prove.

Write the supplier, exact model or drawing revision, finish code, upholstery or grip material, attachments, hardware, and date received. Photograph labels and packaging without treating them as independent proof.
Record dimensions in inches or centimeters, component count, adjustment positions, weight or resistance markings, surface observations, assembly sequence, and requested load or stability evidence. State the measuring tool and acceptance tolerance supplied by the buyer or specialist.
Follow documented assembly instructions in the intended room context. Record interference, access, movement, noise, clearance, controls, guards, and maintenance questions. Do not improvise a safety or rated-load test without a suitable method and responsible reviewer.
Mark each item accepted, rejected, conditionally accepted, or still open. A finish swatch can approve color while leaving weld construction, rated load, carton protection, and exact production configuration unresolved.

Visual, dimensional, assembly, and functional checks answer different questions. A visual pass does not establish durability, stability, or a regulatory result.
Approval attaches to recorded drawings, bill of materials, finish, packaging, and documents. Later substitutions need a new decision trail.
When suppliers propose different combinations, compare each named component, frame material, dimension, requested rated load, attachments, spares, assembly state, carton count, total packed weight, sample status, document list, price basis, freight scope, and exclusions. Missing values stay open. This matrix helps buyers identify differences; it does not rank or certify suppliers.
Send the package list, proposed variants, quantities, destination, target timing, and the decisions the sample must support.
